= Ganiahsi, Recently Attracted Attention =
Ganiahsi refers to the root-like part of kombu that attaches to rocks. It used to be discarded because it is very tough and not suitable for consumption. However, as research on Ganiahsi progresses, various new components have been discovered, and it is gaining attention for its significant contribution to maintaining health. Ganiahsi contains over twice the amount of minerals found in kombu, as well as polysaccharides and dietary fiber like alginic acid, fucoidan, and cellulose, among others. Additionally, Ganiahsi contains two types of fucoidan, which are currently under further investigation in specialized fields.
